Self harm training now available in our new training room

Over the past few years, Harmless has delivered self harm training and workshops to thousands of carers and professionals. We know that sometimes training can be enhanced when it is delivered away from your work place setting. As a result, Harmless has now launched its very own training room. Located on the 4th floor on the Nottingham Voluntary Action Centre, Nottingham, our new training facility has been designed to give organisations an opportunity to send its employees to a dedicated training environment and improve the learning experience.

Our flexible training packages can be designed for workplace specific needs. Whether this be to enhance skills and awareness or with a focus on a specific client group, Harmless can work with you to define a training package with learning outcomes designed to meet your needs.

Self harm is a complex issue and one which can prove problematic for all involved. Individuals who self harm range from diverse backgrounds and experiences and may disclose their self harm to a variety of individuals or services. We think it is important that the first point of call, whoever it may be, should be prepared so that they feel confident and competent in responding to individuals that self harm and are equipped with skills that can be used in intervention. In doing so, we believe it is possible to have a positive impact upon the health and well-being of those that self harm and can directly influence their recovery.

We also deliver bespoke packages of training throughout the UK, from team sizes of 5 up to groups of around 20. The training is presented by an experienced and qualified CPD registered trainer and price includes a resource/training pack for all participants.
