Tuesday 13th November 2018 is world kindness day.
On this day people attempt to make the world a better place by celebrating and promoting good deeds and pledging acts of kindness.
These deeds can be as random acts of kindness such as holding doors open or complimenting someone.
Being nice can reduce the stress and negative feelings another person may feel. It can also improve your physical health too.
A core purpose of every organisation should be to create a safe inclusive environment, at Harmless we embody human kindness and foster a culture of support and collaboration. We are huge believers in the power of kindness, particularly in creating and fostering greater kindness through friendship and being good to one another.
Here are five things that everyone can do to be more inclusive. I challenge everyone to do more random acts of kindness daily:
- Be kind
- Be safe
- Make positive choices
- Look within yourself
- Be consistent
