World Suicide Prevention Day 2013

In 2011 there were 6045 suicides in the UK and the Male suicide rate is approximately 3 times higher than female rates.

Lots of people feel suicidal at some point in their lives. Thousands go into hospital each year having tried to harm themselves. Many more try to take their own lives – and nobody ever gets to know about it.

This is why feeling suicidal can be dangerous and needs to be talked about.

The Tomorrow Project is a confidential suicide prevention project which was set up in response to the needs and concerns of the local community.

Life can be difficult but it can get better, with the right support and opportunity, it doesn’t have to end. No matter how big or small you think your problems are, don’t be afraid to ask for help: www.tomorrowproject.org.uk
